FAQ

Answers to the questions people ask before switching.

Can I bypass Noff like “ignore for today” on Screen Time?

Noff is built to avoid quick bypasses. During a protected session, blocked apps and websites stay behind the shield until one of the defined unlock paths is used.

What kind of things can I block?

You can block individual apps, app categories, and websites (web domains). You choose what to block in each profile.

What if I need urgent access and do not have my NFC tag?

You get 3 emergency unlocks per month for important situations.

What happens if I lose my NFC tag?

If Focus is currently active, Recovery starts a 24-hour delayed unlock flow that cannot be skipped. If Focus is not active, you can pair a new NFC tag directly from Settings. You do not need to buy another expensive proprietary device. Most NFC tags are sold in packs, so you can use another one.

What if I like the design of physical blocker devices?

You can still have that experience with Noff, but with more flexibility. Noff works with compatible NFC stickers, cards, keychains, and custom holders, so you can choose the look and placement that fits your routine. We also plan to share a printable 3D holder design so you can build your own setup.

Do I need internet to use Noff?

No. Noff is built to work offline for core behavior and does not require an internet connection to run focus sessions.

Is Noff subscription-based?

No. Noff is a one-time paid app (9,99€). You also choose your own compatible NFC tag, so you are not locked into buying a proprietary device.

Which NFC tags are supported?

Compatible NFC stickers, cards, and keychains are supported. Recommended tag links are coming soon.

How many profiles can I create?

You can create as many custom profiles as you want and tailor each one to a different context.

Build focus habits that actually stick.

Start with Noff and your own NFC tag to create real friction before distractions win.
